NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Walnut Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold two (2) hearings on March 12, 2026 starting at 7 pm, followed by a Regular meeting at 11420 Millersport Road, Millersport, Ohio.
Hearing one (1) Application Number 26-19 will be for a Variance of the Zoning Resolution. The application was submitted by Donald Waller of 0 Elm Rd Thornville, OH. The applicant is requesting a reduction in road frontage from 100 feet to 80 feet and the reduction in area from 10,000 sq ft to 8000 sq ft to split a property. The remaining 20 X 100 Lot will be Lot Tied into the existing 20 X 100 Lot to the north to make it a 40 X 100 buildable Lot. The Zoning Resolution calls for the road frontage to be 100 feet with an area of 10,000 sq ft. Parcel number 0461151410 currently Zoned RMU.
Hearing Two (2) Application Number 26-20 will be a Variance of the Zoning Resolution. The application was submitted by Matt and Kristin McClellan of 3776 South Bank Rd. Millersport, OH. The applicant is requesting a reduction in the side setback (East side of property) from 6 feet to 2 feet 6 inches to build a new home. The Zoning Resolution calls for a side setback of 6 feet. Parcel Number 0460194600 currently Zoned R-2.
