Fairfield County, as part of its Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, is completing an update to its Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Plan. The County is required to update this plan every 5 years. The last update was completed in 2019.
Fair housing choice is the ability of persons of similar income levels, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, military status, or national origin to have available to them the same housing choice. The purpose of the plan is to identify impediments to the fair housing choice.
To help us prepare this plan, we are trying to obtain as much resident feedback as possible. The link to the survey is below. It will be open through May 15th.
