NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Walnut Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold three (3) hearings on Oct 10, 2024 at 7 pm, followed by a Regular meeting at 11420 Millersport Road, Millersport, Ohio.     

 Hearing One (1) Application Number 24-99, will be a Variance of the Zoning Resolution. An application was submitted by Bradley and Bobbi Herbert of 13521 Pine Rd. Thornville for a reduction in the setback for a Shed from 10 feet to 2 feet from the Main Building.  The Zoning Resolution calls for a 10 ft setback from any main building 9.4 B 7 c. Parcel Number 0461075500.  It is currently Zoned R-2. 

Hearing two (2) Application Numbers 24-100 will be for a Variance of the Zoning Resolution. The application was submitted by Steven Zalis of 5304 Fairfield Beach Rd. Thornville. The applicant is requesting an extension of the height of a fence in the front yard setback from 4 feet to 5 feet. The Zoning Resolution calls for a max height of 4 feet in the front yard setback. 10.2 D 1. Parcel number 0461015200 currently Zoned RMU.

Hearing Three (3) Application Number 24-101 will be a Variance of the Zoning Resolution.  The application was submitted by Charles Shonebarger of 5022 Bateson Beach Dr. Thornville. The applicant is requesting to build an Accessory Structure on a lot with no Principal Building. The Zoning Resolution calls for a Principle Building to be on a Lot in order to build an Accessory Structure. 9.4 B 7 a. Parcel Number 0460035000 currently Zoned R-2.
