NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Walnut Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold three (3) hearings on Feb 13, 2025 at 7 pm, followed by a regular meeting at 11420 Millersport Road, Millersport, Ohio.     

Hearing two (2) Application Number 25-6, will be a Variance of the required setback of the Zoning Resolution. An application was submitted by Shawn & Christa Wharton of 13423 Rosewood Rd. Thornville for a Variance.  The applicant is requesting a reduction in the rear setback from the required 12 feet to 8 feet to install a swimming pool. Parcel number 0461096400 currently Zoned R-2. 

Hearing three and four (3 & 4) Application Numbers 25-7 and 25-8, will be for Variances of the required setbacks of the Zoning Resolution. The applications were submitted by Lois Littler of 5725 Blacklick-Eastern Rd Thornville. The applicant 25-7 is requesting a reduction in the front setback from required 100 feet to 53 ft 5 inches and reduction in the rear setback from the required 50 ft to 12 feet to build a new home. The applicant 25-8 is requesting a reduction in the front setback from the required 100 ft to 41 feet to build a new Accessory Structure.  Parcel number 0480241110 currently Zoned RR.

A copy of all three Variances is on file with the BZA and is available at our office for inspection and copying upon request to the Zoning Inspector at (740) 467-2420 or zoninginspector@walnuttownship.com
